In the Sanskrit tradition, Turiya refers to “the fourth” — a state beyond the familiar experience of waking, dreaming and deep sleep. It represents clarity, presence and awareness.

REM

REM is the phase of sleep most closely associated with vivid dreaming. Its presence in the name reflects the inspiration drawn from immersive, dreamlike experiences.

TUREM lives where these inspirations meet. A place where sound becomes a tool for exploring immersive experiences while remaining fully awake.

TUREM grew from decades of working with music and years of creating live sound journeys.

Over time, recurring needs began to emerge: combining several sounds without interrupting the session, responding to the energy of the moment and keeping every essential control within reach.

What began as a practical search for a better way to work with sound gradually became TUREM — a living instrument shaped through listening, experimentation and real experience.

TUREM is a live sound creation instrument for iPad. It is designed to help facilitators and creators combine music, sounds and atmospheres while a session is unfolding.

02Is TUREM a DJ application?

No. TUREM is focused on shaping layered sound journeys in real time rather than beat matching, club performance or a conventional DJ workflow.

03Who is TUREM designed for?

TUREM is designed for facilitators, musicians and creators working with live sound journeys, movement, meditation, retreats, immersive experiences and performance.

04Can I use it for Innerdance or breathwork?

TUREM is being designed for practices such as Innerdance and breathwork, as well as other sessions where sound needs to respond live to the room.

05Is TUREM free?

Yes. TUREM includes a permanent FREE level, and new users can explore the full PRO experience for 14 days.

06What happens after the 14-day PRO trial?

Your subscription automatically renews at the displayed PRO price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you cancel, TUREM returns to FREE when your PRO access expires, and your Projects remain stored.

07Does TUREM work on iPad?

Yes. iPad is the first confirmed platform for TUREM.

08Is TUREM available for iPhone?

TUREM is designed specifically for iPad. It is not available for iPhone.

09Does TUREM work on Mac?

The first confirmed platform is iPad. Additional platform availability will be announced when it is fully tested and confirmed.

10Can I play several sounds at the same time?

TUREM is designed around combining several sound elements in real time. Final behaviour will be confirmed as development progresses.

11Can I use my own music and sounds?

Working with personal music and sound libraries is part of the product direction. Final import and library options will be confirmed before release.

12Will TUREM include original sound banks?

TUREM will include original sound banks built from field recordings, instruments, voices, textures and material gathered through travel and live practice. The final library will be announced closer to release.

13When will TUREM be available?

TUREM is scheduled to launch on the App Store on August 14, 2026 at 11:11 CEST.

14Where can I download TUREM?

TUREM will be available through the App Store when it is ready. The official download link will be published here.

15Will TUREM require a subscription?

TUREM FREE does not require a subscription. PRO is optional, and final regional pricing will be displayed in the App Store.
